Liana Necklace in detail

January 10, 2011

This piece is the first one-off piece that Phioro has released. Ever.

The Liana collection was inspired by the vines of the Amazonian Rainforest. Clare Pardoe designed this piece with a plant ‘consciousness’ in mind, inspired by the Avatar concepts of everything in life being ‘connected’. This also relates to her own philosophy in life with regards to energy and spirituality.

The solid, gold, vine forms wrap themselves around each other and creep down to encompass the deep blue topaz. The stone was deliberately positioned so that both the wearer and her audience can enjoy it with equal beauty. The necklace itself is made of silken rope and catches onto the main pendant with a fish hook, suggesting the concept of capturing a wild creature.

The entire piece is scattered with diamonds and sapphires, with solid, white gold and topaz.

This is a piece not to be missed! If you think you have what it takes to pull this amazing piece off please get in touch for a price on request.
