Leading Ladies Go For Black and Diamonds. BAFTA Jewellery Review.

February 18, 2014

We must admit that we were left a tad underwhelmed by jewellery worn on the red carpet at this year’s BAFTA awards. Black and classic diamonds seemed to be the repeating fashion theme displayed throughout the evening. Although these starlets could pretty much look gorgeous wearing a simple paper sack dress to compliment their natural beauty; we prefer to see the choice of unique, extravagant and sculptural jewellery selected to be worn on today’s leading ladies.Screen Shot 2014-02-23 at 1.49.09 PM

Cate Blanchett made the boldest move wearing an ornate white gold and diamond necklace with three doves perched on a cluster of branches. Take a closer peek at the necklace in this video clip by The Jewellery Editor.

Taking a cue from Cate’s decadent statement necklace, our one-of-a-kind Liana Necklace also embraces the beauty in utilising extravagant form to mould and shape a final piece that commands the attention of a room when worn by sophisticated women of great confidence.
